Ajax is a Ukrainian-developed security ecosystem and a premium alternative for Perth homeowners who would prefer not to use one of the major Chinese CCTV brands. Ajax video products are NDAA-compliant and built around encrypted connections, controlled user access and a clean, modern app.

Built-in microphones
Capture sound with the video for additional context when reviewing an event. TurretCam HL does not include an active-warning speaker.

Colour when it is needed
Ajax calls its night system hybrid illumination. In darkness, the TurretCam HL can monitor discreetly using infrared. When a configured trigger occurs, the white light can activate so the event is recorded in colour.
The white light improves evidence; it is not active deterrence. The camera does not flash warning lights or sound a siren.
Local recording on the Ajax NVR
Ajax systems can be configured with an eight-channel PoE NVR and a 4TB surveillance hard drive, with the camera count selected to suit your property. Footage is stored locally and can be reviewed through the Ajax app.
Recording duration varies with camera count, image quality, frame rate, encoding settings and scene activity, so we do not promise a fixed number of days.

2. Book and plan the coverage
We provide available installation dates. On the day, we discuss the final camera positions with you and tailor the coverage before installation begins.
3. Setup and handover
We install the cameras and cabling, configure the Ajax NVR and app access, then show you how to view live video and find recordings.

Manufacturing and component supply chains can change, so we do not claim that every individual component is manufactured in Ukraine.
How many cameras do I need?
The right camera count depends on entrances, driveways, side access, outdoor living areas and any internal areas you want covered. Tell us what you want to monitor and we will recommend a suitable layout rather than limiting you to a fixed package.
How does Ajax hybrid illumination work?
The camera combines infrared and white illumination. It can monitor discreetly in infrared and switch to white light for colour footage when configured motion or a recognised object triggers it.
Does Ajax CCTV have active deterrence?
No. TurretCam HL uses white light to improve colour footage, but it does not provide flashing warning lights or an audible camera siren.
Can Ajax identify people, vehicles and pets?
Yes. The camera AI can classify people, vehicles and pets. Detection performance still depends on camera position, distance, lighting, weather and configuration.
Can I use Ajax CCTV without an Ajax alarm?
Yes. The cameras and NVR can operate as a standalone Ajax video system. An Ajax alarm and DoorBell can be added later and managed through the same Ajax app.
What is included in the installation price?

What warranty is included?
Ajax CCTV installations include a two-year hardware warranty and a one-year labour warranty. After the first year, a service fee applies for site attendance and warranty processing.
